Quotations

So, for my quotation I chose "By the pricking of my thumbs something wicked this way comes." 4.1.44-45

This is important because one of the witches said it about Macbeth, and what she is saying is that Macbeth is more wicked than she.  She's saying that Macbeth has fallen so far that he is more evil than the weird sisters and this is really important because the weird sisters are really, really messed up. They curse men and women  for doing things they don't like, they fooled Macbeth into murdering the King to become king for a short length of time.  The witches are some really crazy people they are Satan's workers and do his deeds of satanism.

The other quote I'll use is "Fair is foul and foul is fair." 1.1 11-12

This is important because it leads up to tell us that we should find the good things bad and bad things good.  For example, the death of Macbeth is... bad I mean somebody died.  However, him dying is good because the poison he had placed in Scotland was gone, he was vanquished.  It's a lot like Breaking Bad, you see no matter how far Walter White descended into evil, we still wanted him to win!! *SPOILER ALERT* IF U WANT TO WATCH BREAKING BAD DON'T READ!! When he poisoned Brock you were like "Well he did it to get Jesse to help him!" No, he's a crazy sociopath and you know that, but you still wanted him to succeed and live through all the people after him.

Fate cannot be changed

Well the main thing in Macbeth is once you realize your fate that it WILL happen.  For example in the book when Macbeth is told he'll be king... He does become king.  Personally if you for any reason know the fate of someone or what is going to happen to them in the future (Highly unlikely I know.) I dont think you should tell them.  I say that because if Macbeth had never discovered this he would have never even considered murdering the king he would've been fine with being the Thane of Glamis and Cawdor.

So I agree that if you discover your fate it WILL happen, I think that there's something that'll make you really, really want what you've been told you'll receive.  Like, if somebody told me that I was going to be King of the World but first I'd become a billionaire and then I did... I would believe that person and then I would have that hope in my stomach to become king.  No matter what I said, no matter what I did, I would have a deep feeling in me that would want to be king.  It's just that simple.

Free Post

Free Posts are always the most difficult of the blog posts because I never have anything worth reading because it's normally boring and uninteresting.  Hmm, I got nothing to write about.. I could talk about how close it is to summer and how I'm 1 year closer to getting out of this prison we call a school.  But that's a bit generic (And it shows how pessimistic I am about school.)  I could talk about video games or movies I can't wait to see, but then I'd look like a nerd.  Gosh, I'm absolutely conflicted this is difficult, I'm in such a pickle this is embarrassing.  Hmm, let's see I guess I could talk about the greatness that is Macbeth but I mean it's a free post and that's kind of lame for a free post.  Man, this shows you how uninteresting my thoughts are I could tell you how long I've been sitting her thinking of something interesting to talk about... About 7 minutes.  Yea, that's a long time and I've been writing down my thoughts as an idea (Clever, I know.)

Now, the second paragraph is a bit more difficult because I can't really just repeat what I said.  This should be difficult, I didn't think this through.  Oh stupid me. WAIT!!  I'll take this as an opportunity to talk about how difficult this second paragraph is supposed to be.  BRILLIANT! But, will Dr. D like that idea?? Hmm, I guess it's alright because it's a free post and I'm doing it so I guess it's alright.  What a clever turn of events, I found something to ramble on about and I got my blogs done!! Hooray for Zoidberg!!

Response to 2 statements

Women are more compassionate and less violent than men.

I completely disagree with this because there are plenty of women who are extremely violent... I think that both genders can be just as violent as the other.  I think that gender only makes humans different in a few physical aspects.  The obvious ones are obvious but I mean men and women can both be compassionate or violent.  Gender doesn't really matter because in our world.

Ambition is a positive, desirable trait in a person

Ambition can be a powerful thing, but too much ambition can make a person be just rude and ruthless.  For example, if your an ambitious student that might mean you get good grades and go to a good college.  But if your an ambitious money maker  you would go to any extent to make some dough.  Like, robbing a bank or scamming some people.  But being ambitious can only take you so far, but what you do with that ambition will take you places and help you in life.

Write a poem

I'm so bad at poetry I don't know what to do so this will be bad

This is about school

I wake up in the morning with a big scowl
Then I hop outta bed and wash my face with a towel
It's another ridiculous day where I have to endure school
I walk around campus looking and acting like a fool
Once I eat my food and brush my teeth I depart
After that I walk in to the locker hall and leave for art
The day drags on, and I slowly lose energy
My day is full of boring and me snoring
That's not eve half through, oh no then lunch happens
Yay, a delicious meal.  Oh wait no It's mongolian beef
Never mind I'll go get a nice sandwich,
But no they run out and eventually tutorial begins
I think gee I have study hall last, what a win, win
No, I sleep and sleep only to remember I have practice
At practice I throw lots of things and I run and end up being exhausted
I can go home now? NO! I have Mock trial
I listen and listen to the lawyers speak lawyer talk
and then I fall asleep and yay!

Ok, so like I said I'm not very good at poetry unfortunately, and I feel like I used a couple caesuras, slant rhyming and rhyming.  Not very good poem I get that but it's the thought that counts.

Analyze a song

For my song I chose yesterday by the Beatles because it's pretty short and it is a really good song, so here are the lyrics to the song:

Yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away
Now it looks as though they're here to stay
Oh, I believe in yesterday
Suddenly I'm not half the man I used to be
There's a shadow hanging over me
Oh, yesterday came suddenly
Why she had to go?
I don't know, she wouldn't say
I said something wrong
Now I long for yesterday
Yesterday love was such an easy game to play
Now I need a place to hide away
Oh, I believe in yesterday
Why she had to go?
I don't know, she wouldn't say
I said something wrong
Now I long for yesterday
Yesterday love was such an easy game to play
Now I need a place to hide away
Oh, I believe in yesterday

So the song is sung by Paul Mccartney and its one of the only songs where its only one member of the Beatles performing.  So the song begins with yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away.  Which leads me to a ssume that the singer has a serious problem that needs rectifying.  There are many things at stake in this story, whatever the problems are and his love left him, most likely for his problems with whatever they are.  Then you hear "Why she have to go i don't know she wouldn't say.  I said something wrong now I long for yesterday."  Then my original thought is wrong and maybe she left because he said something insincere and made her realize he was a jerk. Who knows, all I care about is the song is good and makes my heart melt because it's sincere and I love it.

Research Post

Like I said last week I HATE my research topic it really sucks It's awful and I hate it and I just want it to enddddd.  Anyway I'm pretty worried about my final  project because I don't know what I'm going to do, and I'm pretty worried about it...So I'm done with this post because I don't know what to talk about it

Free Post

Uhhh Free post... yay!!! So I'l l talk about something on my mind.  Which is how school is so monotonous and awful.

So this is the first paragraph here; so let's begin. School is awful and I hate it and I've been dying for just a few days off and last week I got just what I wanted, except i had "digital school" so I had school still and I had to do work and it sucked too.  I hate school it sucks so much... just what? 7 or 8 more years and I'm done?  Then work til I die?  Yay I guess that's great!!  No it sucks, I don't want to do that in life I want to enjoy it and not feel like i have something due every 3 seconds.

So on that bombshell I end this post YAY

Research topic to friend

uhh... I don't know who to write this to so uh just imagine somebody...

Hey friend,

My topic for my research paper is The Second-Sino Japanese War and it is AWFUL.  I hate it because not only is it boring, but it's hard to find information on because nobody really cares/knows about it so if I find something it's either nothing helpful or something I have already read just said differently making it completely useless.  Also, the reason I chose it was because I wanted to learn more about something that happened in the Pacific preferably in Japan because Japan is a country I've always wanted to visit because it's a place just rich in culture.  So, to my idiocy I chose something so agonizing and lame that I wish I could re-pick because it sucks!!

Formally:

The Second-Sino Japanese war was a war that was fought between Japan and China from 1937-1945.  It all started with the Marco Polo incident.  This incident occurred when Japan wanted access to a city to search for a missing soldier, the Chinese didn't allow it; a gunshot was heard and fighting ensued.

Prompt- Research, research, research. Explain your topic, why should we care about it, and what specifically is on your research to-do list this week?

My topic really isn't that interesting... even to me and I regret not changing but I'm stuck with it now, YAY!  I hate it, but here it goes: it's The Second Sino Japanese War it's a war that was Pre-WWII and it was between the Japanese and the Chinese.  It mainly happened because the Japanese wanted to expand their country and also because the Chinese had a large supply of minerals.  I was thinking of adding more info so it's easy like, adding how it lead to the US joining in on WWII and how that relates into rights' and responsibilities' (boring thesis btw) I hate this topic did I say that?  I don't know what I need to do on my "Research to-do list" I didn't know I had a to-do list but I'll get on that but I guess it'll be research and make some bibliographies.  Yup, I'll do that!

Prompt- What would happen in a world where it was the child's choice to go to school? Would you go to school?

If I had the choice to go to school as a child I would probably go to school, I can't believe I said that but when i think about it... I enjoyed my first few years in school.  They were probably my fondest memories of this school that I'll actually want to keep, because nobody was a judgmental as they are now... now granted I'm pretty awful and its EXTREMELY hypocritical of me to make that statement.  I got off topic...  so as a child I would think school was a great place because you get to play with your friends, play with your friends, and the teachers were super nice.  Then as I would grow up I would begin to really regret it because school doesn't become something that is fun and interesting it becomes a chore...  its a tedious chore.  Then I don't know if we can slightly manipulate the prompt but I'm going to have to because I feel it's a bit vague but its the most interesting one to me.  So, when if i could drop out whenever I wanted I would "graduate" from Elementary school I would probably finish Middle School and then drop out because I can't take the annoyance of school and the griefs and problems I've had to deal with since I began Middle school (Worst years for everyone might I add.)
